Facebook 101: How to Add and Transfer Admin Right in Facebook Page

One of the most important things you should know about page administration is to handle admin right. A page admin controls the entire page management, from setting, monitoring to networking. Facebook used to forbid original creator been eliminated from admin right, but now this rule is no more. Anyone can remove anybody from the admin panel. Risky as it sounds, but great news for business owners to regain control over abandoned pages.

So before we discuss about admin-transfer, you ought to know about the basics:

How to Add Admin to your fan page

Once you started a facebook page, you are recognized as the original admin. You are free to assign people to administer the page with you in three ways:

1. Add Admin from People Who Like

Probably the easiest way to promote an admin:

-          Ask the person to ‘Like’ your page to be listed in People Like This

-          Look the person up by ‘See All’

-          Once found, click ‘Make Admin’

Normally people would just give up pursuing and setup a new business page. So, don’t go near to that ‘Remove Admin’ option unless you have to.
