Facebook 101:How to Add Like Box to your Website or Blogs
Like Box is the replacement for ‘Fan Box’. It is one of the most used social plugins besides Like button. There are several details displayed: Page name, number of fans and stream updates (optional). The main purpose is to attract site visitors to visit and hopefully, join your business page.
Since it helps in visibility, it is encouraged to embed a Likebox on your website. The process is pretty much the same as embedding a like button , there are several fields you need to fill up in order to generate the code:
After done filling up, click ‘Get Code’ and you will have both iframe and XFBML codes generated for you. Copy and paste the suitable code in your website template (take a look at our Like Box at the sidebar).
How to find your Facebook Page ID?
ID of the Facebook Page is usually the number listed at the back of your URL:
The ID will not be visible for those who had already created a username for their pages. The workaround for this is to locate the ID from your photo album: Go to photo tab and hover over your profile image to expose the ID (will be displayed at the bottom of your browser):
